9467 - The Ghost Train

I found a going out of business sale at a local toy store...40% off all legos...the best I saw was the 9467 Ghost Train...original price was MSRP...so is $47.99 a good price for this set? Worth it? They had 5 left. Thoughts?

Many seem to be buying them at $54, so I think most people would say yes. I have a couple but don't plan on grabbing any more, I am a little hesitant on this one. Hope to be proved wrong.

At $48 it's a pretty safe bet. Go get them before they are gone

This ones turned out to be kinda tricky. Walmarts arent moving this nearly as quickly as anything else, so I don't know if that's a sign or what. But I'm guessing it will still appreciate eventually.

I just picked up another on a impulse buy to put together at my local Meijer. $65 there so I spent too much but wanted to build something tonight. Too bad that the used set goes for $15 Seems a littler low lol

I have 12 @ $54 and 4 @ $60. Buy as many as you can fit in the car for $48. Don't even think, just buy,

Look for the Castle and any original trilogy SW with the Clone Trooper or Darth Vador logo at the top right of the box.

Nice! I would of done the same thing if I hadn't put my money into VC's. I did buy one at 54 though.

I was able to ****** up three boxes of Ghost Train for $30.00 a box at my in town Walmart. Kept one for myself. I probably won't stock up a lot more of them unless I can find similar deals, as I too am skeptical of Monster Fighters' EOL ROI.

If you see the Monster Stuff on sale buy it, once there gone thats it forever. Next Halloween and Christmas these should do great, as there is always people who love Frankenstein, Dracula, Haunted Houses Etc.

Probably just depends on how many people decide to unload this year as opposed to next or later.

If you don't have any and, as you say, there are no clearances of MF in Hawaii, then I would think about grabbing at least a couple.

Looks like a good buy and I really like this set. I recently bought this set on clearance for $25 @ WalMart, but I live in the middle of nowhere.

I passed on 7 boxes priced at 30.00 bucks. I'm not fully confident in this one, and I want to save my funds for LOTR's wave 1 clearance that is coming.

Unless someone here wants this enough that they'll make it worth my while to ship to them, I can grab them so they don't go to waste.
