JoetheBro
Hi there, I must confess that I am not a Lego collector. However since I am planning on moving soon I started emptying my closets last weekend. Next to a lot of old stuff I happened to come across a never been opened box of Lego Technic bought in Germany in 1986 with the number 5580. The box is in a good condition, has however some signs of bad storage (shame on me!) Since I am thinking about selling it: can anyone tell me what it's worth? I searched the forum earlier but didn't find anything about its value... So, sorry in advance if I am asking in the wrong section or if there is something about the value in this forum that I didn't find. Anyhow, I'm looking forward to your replies. CNH1974
I remember wanting that set in the 80's. MIB versions as Jeff says should go for a lot. There is one on Ebay UK, a built model but with instructions and box, with a BUY IT NOW of
BigEZ96
If you're in a hurry price it right and it will sell. If you don't mind sitting on it, price it at twice that and wait for a AFOL like me who really wants it and doesn't care what it costs.
