eracine Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Is Battle of Helms Deep worth paying 115 for? Rumors are June for EOL. Just wondering what you guys think. Quote
emazers Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Helm's Deep Lego Run is over in June, but should be around during the Holidays. I got all mine for $80-$105 , I would wait if you are buying alot of them. Quote
BigEZ96 Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 I'd also wait for a better price, but it's worth every penny at $115! Quote
emazers Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 I am buying more and if I have to I will pay $115 for more, easy $200 set or more this time next year. Quote
whiteboy02 Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 You could wait a little, but it might not get any lower than $115. Just saying! Quote
comicblast Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Is Battle of Helms Deep worth paying 115 for? Rumors are June for EOL. Just wondering what you guys think.I would say you have a little more time to still grab them for a lower price. It probably will stay around $115 until EOL when I can picture it doing well, but patience is key, but if you can't find it for cheaper by the 30th of May, I would grab some. You may be able to find some on clearance, but if this one is a winner, then the extra $10-$15 won't make a huge difference. Quote
Rich B Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Amazon only has 270 left, and they may not restock.........better grab them before they disappear! Quote
nolanfan34 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I still see 3-5 of these at most Walmart's I go to. I think snagging some on clearance when the new wave of sets hits is going to be pretty likely IMO. Quote
Quacs Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Amazon only has 270 left, and they may not restock.........better grab them before they disappear! Rich, where can you see the quantity Amazon has left? Quote
comicblast Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Rich, where can you see the quantity Amazon has left? You can enter "999" into the amount you want to buy. If there is less than that available, it will say a message similar to "Sorry, we do not have your requested amount available. There are currently X number of sets in stock." Quote
comicblast Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Thanks CB! Works like a charm. No prob. Learned this one from a BrickPicker member... Quote
JoshTX Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 No prob. Learned this one from a BrickPicker member... Heh. I remember learning that about 3 years ago on a black Friday deal from some dude at Cheapass Gamer. I think I was trying to score multiple PS3 controllers when they were like 25 bucks. Quote

Alcarin Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I think it's a good set for the price. If only it would come with extra 2 Uruk Hai crossbowmen and like 1-2 peasants from Rohan armed for battle... Then it would be indeed a worthy set in all looks, now the minifig lack is just a disgrace really... Quote
spener90 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Amazon only has 270 left, and they may not restock.........better grab them before they disappear! Grabbed 2. But I will wait to hopefully pick more up in the clearance section. I don't want to get caught without any though. Quote
redeemed763 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 I know Emazers' order sheet says it can be ordered in June but I don't see these sets being around much after that, it is getting harder and hard for me to find them in stores, even Lego stores. It is likely that a few will linger around in some retail stores or perhaps online late in the year, but I am not counting on that. Quote
terrymc4677 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 have target price match the amazon price of $116, and then use the red card for an extra 5% off. this way you get them for less and you can pick out the box you want. Quote
CNH1974 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Amazon UK is the cheapest in Europe at the moment, 20% off at Quote
redeemed763 Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 12% off, 20% happens here too but its pretty rare unless you are one of the kung fu masters who spends 40 hours a week patrolling stores in the area and gets them for $39. Quote
Guest ph4tb0i Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 It's in my Amazon Gold Box right now for $110. Does this seem like a good price to bite? Quote

Maybe it's because the EU RRP is so high :( Quote
