Blackjack Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I'm always amazed at how much time people spend on BP during the workday, and would like some answers! :D Quote
Huskers1236 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I'm always amazed at how much time people spend on BP during the workday, and would like some answers! Obviously we're not getting much work done. In the winter, I'm stuck in my office working on purchasing, budgets, payroll, evaluations, etc. I have a lot of office time and my mind tends to wander quickly because I hate sitting in my office. You won't hear from me as much during the summer as I'm outside so much more and work longer days, so I'll probably be relegated to more night time browsing. Quote
Blackjack Posted April 9, 2013 Author Posted April 9, 2013 Okyday. It seems like us people (Stephen, Orky) without mentioning any names, are on all day. :D Quote
dakotahorn Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I am probably one of the exceptions. I am an inside Sales Rep for B2B sales. I also happen to have been quite successful in landing some big accounts... so... I'm kinda lazy lol. But hey next time anyone here eats at any Waffle House in the country, know that I sell all the books the waiters use to take your order. Thus why I'm on BP at work. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I guess some of us don't have lives and really have nothing better to do. Ha ha. Quote
Blackjack Posted April 9, 2013 Author Posted April 9, 2013 I guess being homeschooled isn't much of an excuse, but I'm mostly on at night... or eight in the morning... when I wake up. #homeschoolperks Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Two reasons why it seems like I am on all day and night A) by nature my job is very reactive so if there is nothing going on I have nothing at all to do and plus I work at night I have my smartphone on me 24/7 and I get notification of every post in the forums so it only takes a few seconds to take out my phone and respond to a forum post. Ed Mack Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I have spare time between taking care of customers and other work related business. Quote

hxckid88 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 pooping and browsing brickpicker go hand in hand. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Like some others, I do a number of mine inbetween dry spells from work which is more of getting a project done by a certain deadline instead of just sitting in front of a computer all day and everyday giving me a decent amount of leighway. pooping and browsing brickpicker go hand in hand. Umm....I'm not even gonna touch that with 40 foot pole. Quote
TheDarkness Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 At home studying and working my Lego sales Quote
Legodog Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I own my own business and work from home. Truth is I should be working but I pay other people to do that so I can spend my day on BP to feed my LEGO addiction ;) Quote
TheOrcKing Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Truth is I should be working but I pay other people to do that so I can spend my day on BP to feed my LEGO addiction Money well spent! ;-) Still, it's great you have business you can run from the house. Quote
rcdb1984 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I just graduated medical school and am dragging my feet on practicing as a doctor while i'm messing around with legos and selling old stuff in my closet on ebay Quote
Alcarin Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I am a Computer and and other devices repair-man So when Anti-virus is running to clean slacking peoples PCs I can browse whatever I want :P Quote
Maverick2k1 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 pooping and browsing brickpicker go hand in hand. Haha best response yet. I barely have time to get on here. I'm outside all day for work, not in front of a computer and have limited time for my phone. I suppose that's a good thing considering every time I log on here it seems I convince myself to buy something new based off of other peoples enthusiasm for various sets lol. Quote
Rich B Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I am a full time student and I work. I have my iphone on me at all times. I hop on BP between classes and during any down time at work, and then again at night, oh and typically when I first wakeup lol. Quote

steveviscious89 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I don't work full time, my wife does. She's a full time music director and I'm part time basically. So I have time to do things like hang around lego forums. Quote
Snowcrash Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I work irregular hours, and browsing this forum helps keep me awake :) Quote

sadowsk1 Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 I guess some of us don't have lives and really have nothing better to do. Ha ha. It does make me think that I should be doing something more productive. Time to reflect. Quote
