terrymc4677 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 we are paying for the rancor fig in this one. i saw it on display at the lego store in the MOA, and it is pretty sweet. even though it may go down a bit more,$50 is a good price to me. i picked up 5. Quote
stackables Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 I think I will wait for the magical 20% off. Quote
Huskers1236 Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 The Rancor is definitely sweet, much better than I thought it would be. The fact that it can grab minifigs with its claws and fit one in its mouth is really cool, just ask any kid who plays with it, or his dad:) Obviously the rest of the set was going to be boring, it's a freaking rock pit. Quote
Talon Posted February 15, 2013 Posted February 15, 2013 The Rancor by itself is going for $15 to $30 on ebay. All the minifigs together are $30 to $40, so $49 isn't too bad of a price. The problem I'm finding is the more Legos I buy the pickier I am on which set to buy and at what price. ;-) Quote

derickb81 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 jabba's palace is only 92.68 as well Quote
exciter1 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Thanks for the heads up. Guess I will wait no longer. I hate to sit this one out, but I'm still waiting for 30%. I think this still appeals to a more limited audience than Jabba's Palace itself. Quote
nolanfan34 Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Thanks for the heads up. Guess I will wait no longer. Same here. Quote

Is the perfect set for Walmart to clear out at $40. :-) I still think the fact this was designed to fit with Jabba's Palace is going to be big for secondary. Selling them as a bundle.. Quote
cflannagan Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Bought both Rancor Pit and Jabba's Palace. Thanks! Quote
TheOrcKing Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 The "Rancor Pit" set is currently listed at $45.33 (24% off) on Amazon. That's $14.66 off the original retail of $59.99. Quote
Raykong Posted February 18, 2013 Posted February 18, 2013 Rancor pit already back over $50...picked up a few jabba's palace for now Quote
TheOrcKing Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Now the set is listed for $51.87, that's barely 13% off. Well there goes that window of opportunity. Maybe we'll see a better discount in the future? Quote

TheOrcKing Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 Yah it's a cool set and all but to me, it's just too new to get excited about anything under 25% off... Agreed. I'll wait for it to drop to $40 at least before the trigger gets pulled. Quote

DominickSoldano Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 I grabbed one a day or so ago at the $51 price. Can I complain and get a refund of the difference on yesterday's purchase or should I buy another at $44 and return the $51 one? Quote
Guest ph4tb0i Posted March 12, 2013 Posted March 12, 2013 contact amazon customer service. they should be able to get you the price difference refunded. Quote
