Isn't it kind of odd to be receiving the second wave of Lego Movie sets after the movie is released? (Unless they are released within the next week) Doesn't Lego normally release all the sets before the movie its based after comes out?

I don't really see it being weird at all unless somehow people will already forget the movie in a month or so, and some part of it could be what LegoManiacc just mentioned above me about coinciding with the home video release.

SPOILER ALERT!!!!!!! THERE ARE MINIFIGURE IN THIS FILM, ALSO ON IS CALLED EMMIT, AND THE GUY WITH THE LOLLIPOP POP STICK IS VOICED BY CREAMY VOICE OF GOODNESS MORGAN FREEMAN!  On a more major point, you'll never believe which cast member dies. hehe. I got to see the movie this afternoon, at a press screening. It's a fun, funny movie. Stomping, Also the 3D is abit last gen. Poke at screen etc. But the perspective shots are nice. BENNY ROCKS!!!

I preordered the game at GS today and they gave me the western emmet minifig. I don't think I am going to pickup the game now. I believe the minimum preorder amount is $5. Now I can just get the walmart copy for the DJ and go to regal to watch the movie for sleepy.

So if u plan on going on Friday to see the movie what is the best deal on table as far as worthwhile giveaway

Do you have an amc membership? That's the only way to get the robo poly for free. Regal has a free membership for sleepy emmet.

So, drop $5 and you can get the ploybag? Hmmm.....

That's how it worked for me but I don't think the guy was suppose to give me the polybag until I picked up the game. I figure western emmet might cost more on ebay since it's only from GS while the robo and sleepy emmet are at the movie theaters as well as a retail chain.

Didn`t realize you could extend the wings on the spaceship! That is really cool! I can`t recall anything, but has Lego ever done anything like that feature in the past?

I saw the movie tonight and was instantly compared to Lord Business by my other half.

The movie is a lot like the sets in a disjointed fashion but the spaceship and the boat looked really neat.

I am going to head to BB when they open. Hopefully they let you buy the sleepy emmet polybag separately. They typically have a price on all their promo crap so perhaps it'll be something reasonable like $5...

Edit: nevermind the game comes out on Friday. Damn!
