beartrapper Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 Out of curiousity is anyone insuring the packages being sent to the UK if sent via express mail but also listing it as a gift? Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted December 12, 2013 Posted December 12, 2013 The crawler only accounts for 10% of the collection been collecting for many many years, And have the room to store unlike many people on here having to rent storage units, Doesn't that scare you not having them at arms reach ? plus whats the cost of a unit over 1 year ? aprox. And can anyone explain why the Star Wars AT-AT Walker 8129 says limited edition on the box ? limited to what? It was a TRU exclusive. Not really limited per se but a cool set nonetheless. Do you have a super huge stash of them? Quote
TheOrcKing Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 And can anyone explain why the Star Wars AT-AT Walker 8129 says limited edition on the box ? limited to what? It was limited to what store it could be bought from like Stephen brought up it being a Toys R Us exclusive meaning only Toys R Us and Lego themselves could sell it. You would not (or at least should not) see it on the shelves of Target or Walmart. 1 Quote

Guest TabbyBoy Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 eBay UK selling prices will soon drop below Quote
MartinP Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 The sold prices in the USA are from $290 - $350 in the past week. Quote
rcdb1984 Posted December 14, 2013 Posted December 14, 2013 The sold prices in the USA are from $290 - $350 in the past week. That's because there's 200 for sale. Back when there was 80-90 the price was 450. Give it time. Quote

Just checking how the set is doing week by week. I think it will be a while until we see spectacular gains on this set. 1 Quote
Guest TabbyBoy Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 Why is this thread still open? Interest in 41999 has fallen through the floor and we're a year away at best before prices rise again. Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 If the thread wasn't open, how would someone be able to come in and ask why its open every 3 or 4 days. Quote
justafrog Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 I'm just glad that I, for one, am not contributing to the excess openness of this thread. 1 Quote
