I am almost as excited for this set as I was when I first saw the Haunted House pictures last year. This set is going to be a big hit in my opinion. I typically don't even like technic sets that much, but this set rocks!! Thanks to Brickextra for the pics!

Of course more were sold than just to Mark, but the reason people had to pay around $400 was because Mark was buying so many at that price. Had he not been buying all those, the other buyers would not have supported those prices since there were far more available than people not named Mark wanted.

Ok, ok, I know I'm a bad boy for restarting this thread after telling it to die so many times but LO AND BEHOLD they are starting to show up in LEGO B&M stores again.  Just thought I burst the retirement bubble a bit.

Did you add the receipt thing after? I don't know how I missed that! I had everyone's signatures disabled since day 1, and turned them on just to see what you were talking about. Saw the store and clicked it...finding no crawlers for sale, I figured out where you were in the world, and searched for the closest lego store within 50 miles.

All for nothing! I guess I missed the joke!

It's funny now though....possible even more funny after playing detective for 15 mins all for naught!

Actually my friend called me from the store just before they closed tonight.  There were four on the shelf and MORE in the back.  Looks like round 3 is a commin'.   My signature has been that way for a few months.  Just like poking fun at "we want proofers".

Bought 3 at KOP, PA. THey had around 8 of them at 10am today.

No - there is a second license plate sticker that is applied to the blank 2x4 tile in addition to the printed x of 20,000 tile.

I thought their shipments are on monday. Why would they not put them out on BF if they had them?
