DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 i doubt the ink for the letters, maybe the frame? Oh yeah, duh, good point. You would just see the outline. Lol. We need superman. Quote
BearCrash Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 I wonder who got the license plate number #00666? They probably were not happy. Why would they not be happy? I'd pay extra to get the Number Of The Beast on my license plate. Quote
Rich B Posted October 24, 2013 Author Posted October 24, 2013 I would love to see #00001 or 00002 discovered, or any low plate for that matter. Unfortunately it might be years before we ever see these, if ever. Quote

MartinP Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Why would they not be happy? I'd pay extra to get the Number Of The Beast on my license plate. That would be awesome. Then I would change the color of the Crawler to a bright red. Quote

MartinP Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 From what I have heard, Lego has taken all the rare numbers out of circulation. Like 00001, 00002, 19999, 20000 etc. 1 Quote

TheOrcKing Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Wait. . . what vault? TLG has a vault!? What are they trying to do?Yes, Lego has had a vault forever now. They keep at least one of every set they manufacture sealed and in mint condition. Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Yes, Lego has had a vault forever now. They keep at least one of every set they manufacture sealed and in mint condition. So they are resellers theirselves?!?!? Mutany!!! Quote
TheOrcKing Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 So they are resellers theirselves?!?!? Mutany!!!It's basically cataloguing all their work same as a museum. Although from what little I have heard there are some gaps for anything before 1970 but everything afterwards is there. I remember seeing a little tour video into Lego's secret vault but I can't find it right now. :frantics: Quote
Guest TabbyBoy Posted October 24, 2013 Posted October 24, 2013 Mutiny on the Bounty? Now that'll be a good set. Quote

My fondest childhood memory is splitting open the 45deg perforations along the box and the smell of "newness" from the bricks inside. It just doesn't smell the same now, does it? Quote

After finding it again, I looked on YouTube so I could embed it in the post, but it didn't seem to be there. Here is the URL directly to the video, I wonder if it could be embedded? http://www.viddler.com/embed/aec03d35/?f=1&autoplay=false&player=mini&disablebranding=0 Quote
