Fcbarcelona101 Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 We always hear about those great CITY and Modular LEGO display's people have in their homes. I was wondering if there are some of you out there that apply the same concept to some of the other LEGO themes like SW, LOTR, etc. It would be really nice to see some pictures if you do have something along those lines. For example, considering the several ROTJ (Rancor Pit, Desert Skiff, etc.) that have come out and will continue to be released later this year, I'm sure someone really dedicated could recreate a big Tatooine scene. Feel free to post pictures of yours or just comment about your thoughts on this. Quote
Rich B Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I would love to see some MOCs/scenes like this from the Brickpicker members as well. Figures that I'm currently working on a city layout myself, so I unfortunately won't be posting any Star Wars or LOTR layouts, etc. Quote
Fcbarcelona101 Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 City layouts are for sure the most popular ones, and with good reason. The amount of compatible sets and accessories is pretty big and makes those a really good candidate for building nice scenes. Quote
Rich B Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 Yeah very true! I love the city/train theme most, but it is always nice to see Castle and Star Wars layouts. Quote
Blackjack Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 The Star Wars location sets are all too small, so you would have to build your own. Quote

The problem with messes is that you know where everything is, but everyone else thinks it looks like a hurricane hit. I call it a creative disaster. :-) Quote
legopocalypse Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 i'm in the middle of a city town display as well then will move on to my kingdom/castle display Quote
shudameister Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I have a dinosaur hit London theme... Kinda nonexistant. And only resides squished on a wardrobe. Gotta keep away from the dog. Quote

Gotta keep away from the dog.I had a friend who got all his Legos chewed up by his dog....... the dog was never seen again. JK my friend didn't really care about Legos that much and most of his collection was Maga Blocks so I didn't care either. :) Quote
TheOrcKing Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I love creating Space related scenes or builds. Even had an idea for creating a modular style future esque Space city. Could have trippy cars, buildings, monorails, and big mechs of course! Quote
