eklein03 Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Hey, hopefully someone could help me. A Lego log cabin came in the mail today; however, I've never had a package damaged as badly as this from amazon. Despite the perfect packaging (best I've ever gotten from amazon), they shipped me an item with a hole it the middle of the box! I don't want to return it since I wanted to keep one to build. How do I go around getting a partial refund? Quote
comicblast Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Usually, calling Amazon Customer Service does the trick. They try not to take returns back and like to give you refunds instead. I imagine that you will get at least a 10% discount if you are nice to them... XD Quote
eklein03 Posted March 23, 2013 Author Posted March 23, 2013 Still on the phone.... so far it's 20% back. Thanks for the quick reply comicblast! Quote

Veegs Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 I've also had success with their email customer service. I ordered two Friends Riding Camps and they were in rough shape. They gave me $20 off each. The boxes aren't quite as bad as the big hole you have, but dented and creased enough to be kinda ugly looking. Anyway, it looks like they are also being pretty nice to you! Quote
hollywdbri Posted March 23, 2013 Posted March 23, 2013 Be sure to open and inspect that all parts are present. I got a box from Amazon with a tear in the package (tapes were sealed). Turns out all minifigures were removed. Quote
