One of the best ways to find odd parts like this is to search the dimensions. 12 x 12 in this case. https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?P=43979

I was curious about the "5 sets" that part appeared in. It shows up in 5 sets that I think were 4+ sets. Good use for the part, all similarly designed craft (e.g., Snowspeeder, Batboat, A-Wing...)

I was hoping it was an old rare part. Turned out to be 76158: Batboat minus the figs.
