WHP517
(Apologies if this has already been discussed in another thread) I'm sure most already know about the monthly instructions available to VIP members. I think it's a great concept, but what I'm concerned/confused about is how LEGO Shop at Home claims that all of the needed bricks for each set can be purchased online. I've tried using the 'pick-a-brick' section of the site to find the needed pieces for the March set (Turtle), and sure enough, there were some elements that were not available. Has anyone else run into this situation, and if so, found a solution?
comicblast
Lol, maybe you have to buy $60 in sets to get all the pieces. I have never tried to do a monthly mini-build, so I can't really help you out on this one...Sorry!
WHP517
Well, I just bought the necessary pieces for April's VIP mini-build (duck), so hopefully the experience will be worth it! It was a pretty inexpensive buy too when I redeemed $5 worth of VIP points.
JoshTX
About how many pieces do these "mini-builds" typically average?
jdhunter04
About how many pieces do these "mini-builds" typically average? March had 33. Typically 30-40...I think there was a log cabin that was more. We go every month and get two sets made.
