comicblast Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Am I the only one that has to search set numbers in order to answer questions? Buy it. You aren't alone! I'd buy it. Checked my Target earlier today, and its a sitting duck at $70... Quote
hepcatpunk Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 I'd buy if that opportunity presented itself to me. Your money, your decision. Quote
legohoarder Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 My local Targets have put some Star Wars sets at 50% off. 75019 the AT-TE being one of them at $45. Even though I am not a fan of episodes 1-3, I grabbed the 4 that they had because I'm sick and can't control myself. The vehicle looks like a slow moving, less cool AT-AT to me. Only 5 figures, 2 of which are battle droids is nothing to get excited about either. But I'll admit I am out of touch with the younger fan base for Star Wars which seems to prefer Clone Wars to original. So I'm hoping to get some objective input here. Will this be a sought after set after EOL or will it struggle to get back to and then hover around retail $90? Quote
iahawks550 Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 At 50% off, you won't lose money on these, but i tend to think they won't be huge winners. They haven't really moved off the shelves very quickly and seem to lack.....something. 1 Quote
MartinP Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Just like iahawks550 said, I don't think that they will be winners in the fact that they will soar in price, but at 50% off, you really can't lose money on them. If you need money, you could sell these for MSRP and still make a little profit. Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I would keep them. I am going to disagree with the above. I sold these like crazy (parting out) with no minifigures during Christmas - definitely one of my most sought after sets. I sell the set with no minifigures much faster than all the figs in it. As for the figures, Windu is pretty popular. The two battle dorids are decent - people like having the commanders - and Coleman Trebor is a nice exclusive. As for investment, I am not sure but feel like this set might see a little jump after EOL. The other ATTEs are both pretty expensive NIB and I think this one is as good as those so I could see it getting to around $100-$125 after it retires. Either way, you could get about MSRP for them this Christmas. At about $50 in, you would still be able to clear $25-$30 on each which isn't bad at all. Quote
legohoarder Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 Thanks for the responses. I was considering parting these out, but I think I'll hold on to them until around Christmas NIB and then see what happens. Quote
vincevaughn Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 The old version did well enough (7675). At 50% off you will not lose money. 1 Quote
matrosov Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 At 50% off you stand to make decent profit unless of course lego decides to do a re-release. My 7676 is going to be listed for a looooong time, now that virtually identical if not cooler 75021 is out. Damn you Lego. Damn you. Quote
Trigol Posted February 22, 2014 Posted February 22, 2014 I just picked up an AT-TE at one of my local targets for 45$. Two of my Targets are out of them and the last one had 3 left. I just started collecting sets but for me I think it's a steal since even if I just build it, it's a great price per brick Quote
JHolland513 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Can confirm that 75019 AT-TE is officially retired. Prices for them are already rising on ebay, by good luck managed to snipe one last night MISB for $70 before prices started getting jacked up by people. Quote
exciter1 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Confirmation from who? http://shop.lego.com/en-US/AT-TE-75019 Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 He said official confirmation of retirement........all I see is official confirmation of retiring soon. Quote

Darth_Raichu Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I posted about 75019 ATTE retirement four days ago and even put the links to S@H page. :P 2 Quote
biking_tiger Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 I read the OP as "well, those darn eBay pirates are jacking prices so it's definitely true about that retirement thing" or something like that. Quote
stephen_rockefeller Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Weird just saying retiring soon for me. Maybe deleting my cookies will change that. Quote
chinothegeeko Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 Excellent news. Looks like they removed the cargo train and Lex armor. Quote
zobel0022 Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 ATTE 75019 still available on Amazon http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00CNBS44I/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1427290505&sr=8-1&keywords=75019&pi=AC_SY200_QL40&dpPl=1&dpID=51EY%2Bu-4VsL&ref=plSrch Quote
Achilles Posted March 25, 2015 Posted March 25, 2015 AT-TE was discounted for quite some time and pretty widely avail. 144 resellers on amazon now. I'll be curious to see how this performs, but I am not extremely optimistic. 1 Quote
