JOEBRICK376
Hey Brickpickers, please DM me on here (with the link to the item and seller profile) whenever you see a suspicious looking Lego listing on Walmart.com going forward. We are working to identify and de-list all bad actors in toys and games there this season. You can send non-Lego links too if clearly suspicious.... Pretty much as soon as we identify the bad actor we can have them banned, so keep em coming as they pop up. 4

Popular Post Gonkalin
USPS called me back about my fraud claim. And I did file a fraud claim on their website. USPS told me to call the FBI as it is a cyber crime. Also, Seller is offering a 30% discount. I said no. Then they offered 50% discount and I can keep the counterfeit lego sets (how nice of them). I said no, 100% refund. Then they offered a 80% refund. I said no, "this is not a negotiation. 100% refund". We will see what they say next.

Gonkalin
Wait. Walmart removed Jai Sai from their sellers? Is there a way to see a Walmart seller list? I can't seem to figure out how you determined they are gone for sure. Edited December 3, 2021 by Gonkalin

el_duro
So Walmart just gets to keep their 15% of Jai Sai etc al. with no consequences? They made 15% on every Jai Sai sale; how is that not also a cyber crime? Not sure Walmart facing no repercussions is a great outcome, and certainly doesn't incentive them to do a better job of vetting sellers / managing their marketplace go-forward. It's great to nail the small guys, but this group should have to do Walmart's job for them and Walmart should be held to account. Below are Walmart's own words; how many parts of this did they fail on, yet still profit from? How can I get approved to sell on Walmart Marketplace? Because of our curated nature, high standards, and requirements, not just any seller can earn a spot on Walmart.com. But there are a few tips that can make the application process easier and help you get approved. First, make sure you have a history of marketplace or eCommerce success. In addition to the aforementioned requirements, this is something we take seriously so that we can continue to provide a great product assortment and shopping experience for our customers. Next, ensure that none of your products appear on Walmart Marketplace’s Prohibited Products Policy. These include hazardous materials, alcohol, certain types of food, offensive products, and more. Please thoroughly review the list—if you have even just one of these items in your catalog, your Walmart Marketplace application will be denied. They are working on it and honestly taking a much more proactive approach than Amazon did (it's former Amazon team members working on it so they've learned from the past). Walmart does not disburse to sellers who are identified as bad actors and then suspended, their trust and safety team will be following up with customers who were affected shortly I'd be guessing. Gonkalin
So I just got off phone with Walmart. They confirmed that Jai SAI has been removed due to quality concerns. But they said they had to reach out to seller one more time (on my behalf). And if they still don’t cooperate then I need to call Walmart back on Monday and they will refund. And they gave me a case number that includes both my orders. So that’s helpful. We’ll see I guess.
LegoMyLegos
I am glad others have noticed this, and that action has been taken! Some suspiciously good deals but a ton of bad reviews on them. Interestingly, one of the reviews listed a different seller name, so I wonder if they tried to evade detection/notoriety by changing their dba. Scumbags. Glad those of you who were affected seem to be getting the situations properly rectified!

Two items I bought on the same day from two different names arrived together, both wrapped in bags and tape, and had the same return address. one was "DEI SALES INC" https://www.walmart.com/seller/101111362?pageName=order-details the other was "niubei leite" https://www.walmart.com/seller/101106059?pageName=order-details

A phone number search leads to an SAS Shoes location :/. If I don't get satisfaction from the counterfeit reseller maybe I'll call SAS' corporate legal department and let them know one of their stores is being used as a front for a counterfeit ring. FM
I took the counterfeit Dinosaur Park fago to Walmart and returned it for a full refund. I then told the cs that it was counterfeit and she said that she had to send it back to the sender because it was a 3PS. It made me think that I should have put a note into the next buyer that receives this counterfeit product to contact the FBI.Sent from my moto g power (2021) using Tapatalk
Gonkalin
I told them I refuse to send illegal product back to the seller. We’ll see what they say on Monday.

I clicked on it, and it gave me a return barcode. I returned them to Walmart, and they printed FED EX return labels. I had email confirmation of refunds before I left store.
Gonkalin
Response overnight from Jai SAI Dear customer, Thank you for your reply. Mark Beardsley
I just received a fake Star Wars set that I bought through Walmart.com. Made in China, and says "Galaxy of Heroes" instead of Star Wars (though it does say "Empire Strikes Back" on it). No Lego logo either. Even though I paid full-price for the set ($150) and did not even realize that it was going through a 3rd party (I paid via Paypal right through the Walmart website). I just called their customer service, but the girl could not understand that this was a bigger problem than "requesting a return". Her supervisor is supposed to "call me back shortly", but I suspect that this will not happen. Apparently the 3rd party seller is "niubei leite".
