Eremis77 Posted March 13, 2013 Posted March 13, 2013 Hi all, I'm a lifelong Lego fan who now has an infant daughter, and decided that it was time to start trying to make some money from my hobbies instead of just spending it. When I was younger I had to get rid of my Lego collection when I moved, and have always regretted it. (I sold over $3000 worth of opened sets for $300 because I didn't have time to sell them in lots.) Since then my wife and I have both purchased sets for our own entertainment, but I finally convinced her to let me try Lego investing this year. I'm a big fan of the Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and Marvel sets, and my wife loves the Castle/Kingdoms (and LoTR also). I'm also gathering the Lego Friends sets for when my daughter is old enough to play with them, and Duplo for more immediate play. Looking forward to seeing how investing can work out. I have owned quite a few sets that are now worth a lot if I'd been able to resist opening them, now that my self-control is a bit better I hope it's not too late. Thanks! Eremis Quote
