I love Billy Joel's songs. Only caveat is that every time I visited the dentist, it seems that "Tell Her About It" and "For the Longest Time" was always playing (probably an easy listening station). And dentistry is not a good memory. :(

My favorite song of his is actually "An Innocent Man" and a very close second "Movin' Out (Anthony's Song)". But I love all his hits and most of his albums. Nice selection!

Thank you. I've had to visit several dentists before and at least one of them had music playing all around and, yes, "For the Longest Time" was played a lot. There was another tune I can't remember right now for the life of me but I was at the point where I knew all the lyrics and singing along.

Orc man! You have all those Billy Joel classics there, and they are indeed, but where is Piano Man?

I think I may have already posted "Piano Man" further back in the thread along with these personal favorites. ^_^

Guess it would help if I read the entire thread before posting, ay?  Needless to say, Billy Joel is awesome. Period.

While browsing for music on Youtube (which means I have way too many things to do :D), I stumble upon Zedd.  Apparently I am getting old as I did not have any clue who this guy was :P :P :P

But his eurobeat tracks are exactly what I need tonight :)

People probably know him from this tune:

Back in the 1990s before computer animation was taken seriously as a possible film and art medium, there was a series of home releases showcasing various random clips done by several artists in the field strung together in great compilations accompied by harmonic musical scores. This series was titled "The Mind's Eye". Since each had different sections, I tried to separate the entire first film by individual tracks for your listening and viewing pleasure. Plus I don't imagine anyone trying to sit down for more than a half hour watching the entire thing in one go.

On a personal note, this was what hooked me into computer anything to begin with and I'm sure the music helped stimulate many creative parts of my own mind as well. The Mind's Eye series for me had the best soundtracks growing up.

To add, I found a slighty alternate version supposedly changed for TV displays in Radioshack stores. The only real noticeable difference is a few different clips used in the main tracks while the biggest change was the three alternate tracks around the end replacing "The Temple" and extending the rest of the film itself.

-Radioshack display edition-

(skip to 27:40 for bonus tracks "Q Factor", "Tingri", & "The Way I Feel")

I'm not a huge fan or always in the mood for Simply Red but it is relaxing those times I am. You can blame my mother playing this stuff when I was little. ;)

I have no idea what they are saying but the music is nice, as in you would enjoy listening to it during a rainy day.  It is titled Egao (Smile) and a soundtrack of the latest Pokemon movie.  I prefer the cover version though..

A different thread and my own nostalgia lead me to this. It is the extended cut of the track used for the credits of Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors titled "Keep on Rolling". No vocals though which is a little unfortunate but then again, it's still great.

Here is the TV cut with some vocals as heard after every episode.

I think I already posted the intro to this 80's cartoon somewhere because the track was great but here I just found the 'clean' version which could have been the original recording. The lead singer sounds a tad different than what was actually used in the intro; however, the rest is exactly as it should.

How about something different for a change. This catchy song from Pharrell has been playing on radio for a while. He had the brilliant idea of making 24 hour video of people dancing to his song playing over and over. So if you have nothing to do and want to watch some goofy (and some good too) dancing..

Because I AM HAPPY !!! :D
