blueriderbrick
Please move this thread if this isn't the right place for it. What Treasures, Gems, or Garbage did your Lego Bulk Lot Hold? I wanted to start this thread for awhile, what I would like to see is the hidden gems you found in the box wether it be lego (cool or rare pieces) or something else neat other then lego ( toys, coins, etc) or something crazy like (glass, metal garbage, etc). Photos would always be good so the forum could help you identify an item. I have a few things to post like a small c3po made of metal I think and some small plastic camels and elephants. stephen_rockefeller
Is that small C3PO a Lego minifig?
blueriderbrick
not lego at all its a very skinny and probably half the size of a minifig but very detailed, like a moveable tin c3po I'll post pics

I might be wrong, but that orange plastic piece was apart of a set of 10 you could buy in orange or blue. They could be loaded into and launched by some bionicle figures. The reason I recognized it was because I have blue ones that look exactly like that one.

comicblast
I always get stickers, hair (EWWW!!), LOTS of dust, and at least a few Lego compatibles like Mega Blocks. Sometimes I also get tissues, green plastic army men, and farm animals from other toys in them. Hardly ever get 100% Lego in the lots that I buy. :(

Surprisingly there were no crayons. Maybe next time. There was plenty of hair though. These are all things to be expected in a bulk lot with the exception of the piece of glass. I'm sure there are more treasures to be found if I keep looking through it. Bulk lots are usually a lot of fun. My wife and I can't wait to dump them out and look at all the pieces and find those hidden gems. I will probably continue to buy them even with the recent bad batch. CNH1974
hehe, going through large lots can be great or really frustrating or brilliant. Brilliant. Lot of 1980s space Lego. The seller did not mention they had multiple copies of large sets, like 6980, 6951, 6930, 6971. I also found a rare 928 & 6970. There was an extra

Yeah, it is sad when the most valuable piece in the box is the penny :)
