Regarding the Viking Ship:

Quote

The LEGO version should be quite large and equally chic and look like a modern version of the 7018 Viking ship from 2005. On each side of the ship there are six oars and seven round shields, the built sail is red and white. There will also be a large green sea snake in the set. The only negative point: As so often, only three figures are included - which looks a bit strange on a ship with twelve oar seats.

Creator continues to pump out great sets

Looks like Creator is moving to be the new Architechture-ish?

It would be nice for Architecture to go back to focusing on buildings/structures and, dare I say, architectures.  Skylines (now Postcards?) should have their own line.

this is absolutely obvious: they just (again) "stole" the original IDEAS submission for the Van Gogh Starry Night.. just look up LEGO designers astonishing comments how that piece made them think totally different about how the paintings could be done (in 3D) .. brick sketches are total revenue garbage so they have to come up with something else.

then LEGO sucks at copying

they need to fully commit and produce that Starry Night...the freakin dots art is the lamest lowest denominator

IF you're doing wall art as a motif using LEGO as a medium...I would think it's as obvious as day that you design the elements to come out of the wall from 2D to 3D...the bigger "jump" in terms of concept is using a toy to make art.

Less pieces than the existing creator pirate ship but $20 more.

Gotta recoup the costs for those printed shields 😋.  kidding aside, all 3 builds do look great.  I miss the days every set had ideas on the box for multiple builds.
