exciter1 Posted February 22, 2015 Posted February 22, 2015 The C-3PO is cool, but I assume all of those bricks are painted? Quote
TheOrcKing Posted February 23, 2015 Author Posted February 23, 2015 The C-3PO is cool, but I assume all of those bricks are painted?Yes, the builder stated he used a golden coat for a realistic effect which I would assume was spray paint.I cant believe that harley is made from lego. It's so well built that when I first saw it, I thought it wasn't made out of Lego.So much chrome you can harley tell it's LEGO. ;) 1 Quote

Precisely one of the reasons why I find Bruce Lowell's work fascinating. While the idea of the model can be considered commonplace, the detail behind it is anything but. Here's another of his that practically blends into the local flora. LEGO Hibiscus by bruceywan LEGO Hibiscus by bruceywan 3 Quote

Grolim Posted July 11, 2015 Posted July 11, 2015 That looks great! The Alien itself is awesome but the way the blood is done really makes it, that drip and pool effect is brilliant. 1 Quote
Popular Post TheGallows Posted July 12, 2015 Popular Post Posted July 12, 2015 These next two have blown me away! By the incredibly talented Mike Doyle. Was tempted to post this in the haunted house forum. Enjoy! His second Lego piece was a Victorian home with an overgrown garden and a tree that had collapsed on to the roof. This took more than 450 hours to build and approximately 60,000 pieces of Lego. 10 Quote
