Hey guys/gals, I love love love the Star Wars planet sets. I love them so much I want to build some custom high quality acrylic displays. What I have in mind would allow you to display the LEGO set, the planet hanging properly, the box, and the coolest part is the instruction manual. These would be both stackable and/or hangable. These would also be built perfectly to display almost all battle packs or small sets in a similar manor. I have submitted my design to a couple of manufacturers and am curious if anyone else might be interested in something like this? So my question to the community is would you be interested in a "LEGO specific display" and if so how much would you be willing to pay for one? Thoughts? Regards, Cody

I love acrylic displays and if they are nicely done, will pay top dollar for them.

Acrylic displays are beast I think anybody would buy them for anything not just LEGOS. And the price you would sell them for all depends on how much the materials cost and how hard it is to build them.

Ouch. Best quote I got back:

$180 / ea from guy who builds displays for the Dallas Museum of Art. Promised me they would be museum quality.

Or $95 / ea if I wanted to "cheapen them up".
