I base my profit margin on what I paid for the item. Many times if I get items 70 - 75% off I'll sell it for below retail. I pass the savings on to the customers. I have many repeat customers because of this. Quote

If someone needs to move or the bank takes over a house and sells it below market value it pushes down prices for the neighborhood. A single sale however Does not an entire market make. I magine that would be true for lego sets as well. This is a good point. Real estate also has people to advise on the price to sell at, no safety net for the Lego reseller that doesn't do their homework. Otherwise it could be very much intentional and they just want to move a product fast and they have their own variety of reasons. Quote
