TheOrcKing
I was thinking more along the lines of this, this or this!!!!! Well those are good too. ......Still want that free t-shirt. If those sets are for employees only, why do they have 7+ years on them? Do they have employees under 7? It seems wierd to even have the age listed on there at all. Boba Fett was a mandalorian though. While Boba Fett's armor was Mandalorian, there wasn't anything definite to him actually being a Mandalorian himself. Not that I know of, anyway. That tidbit might have been revealed in one of the graphic novels. Shows how much I know, doh! At least through the end of 2013 probably. Possibly longer. Online, possibly. Instore, probably not. TheDarkness
Apologies for posting it in here and starting a thread. Obviously way too tired and asked the question in my head 100 times, let alone posting multiples. Are all those earlier Super Heroes sets on the verge of disappearing? (Batman, Avengers, Wolverine?) TheOrcKing
Are all those earlier Super Heroes sets on the verge of disappearing? (Batman, Avengers, Wolverine?) I'm pretty sure of it. I haven't found anymore of last year's SUPER HEROES sets at Wal-Mart for the last couple of weeks, and at Target I had found just a couple of stragglers but I think they're gone too by now. allegory
"Methinks he protestith to much" He secretly wants to be a Lego Store employee... ... you get a shirt and everything! Not to mention the 30% employee discount, though I bet that there are limits as to when you can buy and how many...
kerrmando
I think the old super hero sets will be discontinued soon! They are getting harder and harder to find, actually almost any sets with just four digits are getting harder to find at walmarts and targets
bricfix
I was just on the Lego websites and noticed the followings sets are listed as retired. 9465 Zombies (No surprise) 10222 Winter Village Post Office (Thought this set might have one more year)

Looks like I missed the boat on that one
stephen_rockefeller
'Zombies' is like the Holy Grail of Lego investing on this site! if by zombies you meant the 10179 MF, then yes I agree 100%!!!
Rich B
'Zombies' is like the Holy Grail of Lego investing on this site! Wow!! I thought the Post Office had more time too. This is going to catch a lot of people of guard. I'm glad I bought a couple of them, definitely wish I had bought more though!
Rich B
It is crazy that the bakery is only 'sold out' and not 'retired product' even though it came out before the post office.
redeemed763
Probably goes to show how utterly bogus the site is on this kind of stuff, we will see if it comes back. I can't believe the bakery isn't eol already, it never even hit most of the lego stores this year.

Rich B
Im guessing the Post Office wasn't selling as well and that's why they EOLed it after only 2 years. This just shows how unpredictable Lego is with their retire dates.

spener90
I bought the Bakery... I hope it's done and the Post Office is back.

They are getting harder and harder to find, actually almost any sets with just four digits are getting harder to find at walmarts and targets That's a good point. I've been using the 4 digit sets as a rough guide as to what is old and probably on the way out soon when out shopping.
Rich B
I bought the Bakery... I hope it's done and the Post Office is back. That's what I'm hoping too, but from the looks of Shop at Home it may be the other way around.
spener90
If not, I may have to sell off a few bakeries for a quick profit and pick some more up in November again.

redeemed763
I am still trying to get my mind around this and wondering if maybe something isn't right on LEGO Shop at Home or perhaps it will be re-released next Christmas. The post office is selling cheap right now and the bakery is fetching a good return.
