glucapg Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 the majority of participants in the forum are from US and when they're talking about the attractiveness of a theme, they referred it to the US market but there is a big difference, for a set/theme, depending on the country? what are the themes not so strong in europe as they are in US? TheDarkness Posted March 4, 2013 Posted March 4, 2013 I think for the most part everything is the same as alot of the themes Lego use have universal appeal. There was a special Architecture set for Japan I believe, but I am not sure if it was available worldwide. There was a special edition of the collectable minifigs available in the UK for the Olympics. These are more on an exception than anything. A theme like Monster Fighters I believe does better in the US due to how they celebrate Halloween, than here in Australia. This may affect potential resale later on. Star Wars and City generally fly off the shelves, Friends not as much as maybe in the States. Quote
