If you don't mind an obvious disregard for the value of the holy brick, and the haphazard video style, this is a great video on how to make a RC LEGO airplane.

They'd need to add a few components to the PF line for that, which would be pretty limited in reapplicability:

- a low weight, high speed motor

- a RF receiver

- a lightweight battery component (but doing this, especially a flat sized battery, would be loved by Train enthusiasts compared to the small but still bulky 8x4x4 box they have now

- proper propellor blades
