There were multiple threads of stories as should be in a huge space station with hundreds of different alien races living in there. Characters were flawed but written well. Season 4 finale wrapped up about 95% of the storylines and one of the best series endings out there. Unfortunately, they got picked up for season 5 and the tone of the series shifted. She likes how smart the writing/dialogue is. We're currently four episodes in.
