Pseudoty Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 You have until the end of this month to “vote” for the ones you like, only 375 entries to look at, ugh. https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/main.page 1 Quote

There are a few unique ideas like the Fan set but none that would be must buys, and how many Medieval sets can we have. Here are 2 that are nice but I probably only saw a third of the entries: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-1/431/Retro-Ant-Habitat https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-1/376/Gothic-Cathedral Quote
Moppy Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 You can put 96 to a page and it goes way faster. I'm not too impressed though. Was much better using the ideas sets that got the votes but didn't get chosen as an official set by lego. 1 Quote

DadsAFOL Posted March 7, 2023 Posted March 7, 2023 I actually think there are a lot of great designs. I voted like/love on probably 20-25 of them. Unfortunately builders took advantage of the 4000 piece limit, so whatever makes it though, its gonna be ridiculously expensive to get all that qualify/win. Both JKBrickworks and BrentWaller (previous Ideas winners) submitted sets. If others did, I didn't catch them. Quote
Brick_Dude Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Yeah, site is wonky in terms of navigating. Agree. I’m a sucker for the Cathedral. https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-1/376/Gothic-Cathedral 2 Quote
Chormeister Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 Out of all of the medieval ones, I liked this one best. Looks like it might even be able to be integrated into a city with a little creativity… https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-1/346/Medieval-Market 1 Quote

Shortbus311 Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 The Cathedral is one of my favorites like others said. I also like the Parisian-Street because I think it would be a good one to resell lol...https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-1/323/Parisian-Street 1 Quote
kumas Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 right after the start I could have given likes from the overview but now only from detail which is pretty uncomfortable 1 Quote

Just checked on the Lego Store Modular and it is up to $550. Edited March 8, 2023 by Pseudoty Quote
marcandre Posted March 8, 2023 Posted March 8, 2023 I like the Library. Lot of junk there, they need to tighten up the standards somehow. 1 Quote

Lego steers clear of war and religion. 1 Quote

So I wait with further voting until then bcs now it is pretty unusable for me. Quote
Captain_chaos Posted March 9, 2023 Posted March 9, 2023 Just had the first arrival come today. The others are 'in warehouse'. 5 Quote
Cheese Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Me too, along with the diner. Have the Station and Observatory en route now. Had bought them all with the intention to add to my modular town, but the prices on eBay might persuade me otherwise. Quote
coelian Posted March 10, 2023 Posted March 10, 2023 Lookong forward to collecting all my sets tomorrow, i had to order from the French lego site as it was 20-30% lower than the swiss rrp. Good thing i don't live too far from the border. 1 Quote

scratchdesk Posted March 18, 2023 Posted March 18, 2023 (edited) Started to get my sets. Super disappointed that yet again my bricklink shipments come in looking like someone played soccer with them at UPS. I wish I could at least get a replacement for… This one is the 1950s Diner. Box bent in 2 directions and seals all popped. I tend to wonder if it’s really the carrier or if it’s the warehouse loading/ unloading to the carrier. I send out tons of stuff and never have problems like I do from Lego. Probably has a lot to do with underpacked flimsy boxes too. /vent Edited March 18, 2023 by scratchdesk 7 Quote

I would guess that it is your local UPS distro site that is sitting on your boxes during their coffee breaks. Quote
