Oh. Wow.

It’s been a while since I’ve been impressed by a LEGO set. This one knocks it out of the park. The attention to detail in this set is incredible.

I was showing my wife pics and she kept saying “it needs ” and then we’d see that in the set. Amazing amount of detail.

Same reaction here. So many little details from the movies (1 and 2) captured in the set. I love how the front of the house and partial roof opens up. Such a great idea. Marv's alternative head print with the iron imprint got me rolling!

I haven't bought a set on day 1 in a long time, but with shipping delays this season and this set being so awesome, I may have to pull the trigger.

Boo hoo.
I can't film in the Lego store....but on the other hand I received a prerelease set for free.
I don't understand the point behind your post... Are you saying that people shouldn't be allowed to complain about things that negatively affect their business? Because we have 3-4 threads here specifically for that. And because they enjoy a benefit from their particular business that they shouldn't be allowed to complain about anything else?

Just pointing out the dichotomy of her situation.  Sure she can complain that Lego limits her filming in the store, but they only have that power over her because they send her prerelease sets for review.  I could go film in any Lego store and the most they could do to me is throw me out.  Got to take the good with the bad.

But don't you think that after filming in their store and getting thrown out for it a few times that they would eventually completely bar you from entering? So, I would say regardless of her status in the LAN that getting thrown out of the store or eventually barring her from entering that it would negatively affect her business. Yes, now she would have the added consequence of being removed from LAN, but any of those consequences would be a minus.

The Home Alone franchise could be completely removed from the set and this still is a damn nice house. It seems to be 40 studs wide (42 including the overhang from the roof) so making it fit within a modular street could take some effort if you want to shrink down to a single 32 baseplate or the other way with stretching out across two of said baseplates. I believe there was a 48 sized baseplate available for some time but that was a while back.

Anyway, not only do we have an official minifigure of Macaulay Culkin but also Joe Pesci and Catherine O'Hara. Well of their likenesses in any case.

Do we have an Aunt May minifig from the newer Spider-Man films? We could recreate My Cousin Vinny.

I couldn't find anything. Even stretching the search to include sets based on Avengers: End Game or Captain America: Civil War, nothing of our Aunt Tomei. One of my favorite films, My Cousin Vinny, by the way.

The Manhattan townhome from the second movie would be great in a modular row. They should have made this a 2 in 1 with that option.

Is everyone buying? How long will it last before going OOS...

Considering Every major Christmas set is sold out right now I'm sure this is on a lot of peoples radar.  I would be surprised if it's still available at the end of the day tomorrow.
