Christine89999
My son has come across this TMNT mini figure. He told me for day's it was worth something so finally gave in and had a look and apparently it's a comic con 2012 shadow leonardo! Now everywhere I look it says it's rare. How would I go about seeing if it's legit and not a replica or where would I start in even selling it to someone who would appreciate it more than a child. Any help would be highly grateful. Sales data is hard to come by, but there is one listed on BrickLink for 500GBP, and one on auction on Ebay.ca with a starting price of CA$600, to give you a ballpark. As there is no sold listings, this will be very slow to sell, but should fetch around $500-$600 at a minimum based on the above. BricksBrotha
@Christine89999 Like @Phil Bsaid, previously sold mini figs being in the used condition seems hard to come by. It maybe a slow seller as he mentions because of this, but if priced right, Im sure it could move quickly as well if thats what you looking to do. Also, it may help if you can find any of the accessories that it originally came with. If not, not worries, but it will effect the overall value. 2 brand new ones sealed sold in May and October for ~$1000+
Christine89999
Thank you both. Unfortunately we don't have any accessories as he brought it at a Carboot. Wouldn't know where to start price wise but do want it to go to someone who values the worth instead of being played by a child.

That minifig doesn't look right - check for the LEGO logos.
Christine89999
There's no lego marking on it. I've check quite a few of his other TMNT mini figures and they don't either. This is why I posted as not sure if it is legit or not. I have looked up replicas for this figure but haven't come across any of them yet either. If you pull apart the head & legs from the torso, you should find LEGO markings on the neck and top of legs:
