Mathew Posted July 23, 2020 Posted July 23, 2020 Love this style. Bring on the Carbon freezing chamber companion set next. This is probably how Lego should have done the Bespin UCS set: A series of dioramas That could be interconnected for display on a shelf. 3 Quote

I think a Star Wars lineup would be money. Quote
Popular Post Mark Twain Posted July 24, 2020 Popular Post Posted July 24, 2020 Sorry, I couldn't resist given the Osprey debacle For immediate Release: The LEGO Group announces cancellation of Bespin Duel 75294 "Having an absentee father beat and maim his son before consigning him to the abyss after he refuses to accept his father's philosophical views isn't in keeping with our company values," says Dirk McDirk Face. "I mean, don't get me wrong," continued Dirk, 'We at the LEGO Group are all about good clean fantasy violence. We've made bank selling battle stations responsible for destroying entire worlds, but LEGO is a family brand and domestic violence isn't really our bag." 6 6 Quote

I know that there seemed to be 10's of thousands of the Vader Bust last year. Quote
Mathew Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 This set is good but could have been great if the carbon freeze chamber was part of it. Quote

The carbon freeze chamber is far away, and on a different floor than this location. That would push it back toward being another playset as opposed to a display piece. 1 Quote

MotorCityMuscle Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 think the difference will be that it's also available at LEGO.com. Vader Bust was completely a Target exclusive, correct? Quote

Dark Helmet Posted August 20, 2020 Posted August 20, 2020 Hrmm.. Nothing on here is stating a limited run. I don't remember if the vader one mentioned limited as well. Quote

stackables Posted August 22, 2020 Posted August 22, 2020 Anything unique about the set? Figs don't look new. Quote

Still, for the Vader bust Lego only made like 40,000( I think) so if its that limited that's enough for me. But if its like the talk on the sdcc Wonder Woman set, a few think with the back order system they will make enough to meet demand. then Bespin duel is just an ok set( for resale).
