In my opinion a toymaker should be apolytical with no intention to form a public policy.

if a manufacturer produces a set...they are directly supporting it (whether that's a policy or not)...in this case it's a rational perception especially since licensing directly pays the actual companies royalties

It is LEGO's stance to not support "real" machines of war

this idea should have been shot down at the ..."hey what about this" stage...the fact it got this far is "stupid"

I don't think anyone is acting like that. But people have different tastes.

Some people (not here) act like the best UCS set ever got cancelled.

As I've said not on BrickPicker, but Germany is crazy about Technic & anything military. People are really disappointed. For me it's an average Technic set so I can't quite understand it.

From a reselling standpoint everyone would like to have it, duh.

OK folks, given the opportunity, would you be buying many at RRP? Managed to get these 10% off our local RRP - making them about $160US buy-in.

I grabbed 8. Don't think I'll go for any more, in the unlikely case I find them.

Pretty hard to know what prices will do given they can now be sold and the non-sold bulk parts may yet get given to AFOLs.

The real question is where did you get them from?

I feel like would buy at RRP as rare as these will  likely be.  NICE SCORE:)

Jealous!  I'd buy one from you but you'll get a lot more elsewhere.  Should throw one on eBay to see what it does, I haven't seen any there.  Wonder if Lego will coerce eBay to cancel any auctions.

A bit of envy myself but happy for our fellow BPer:) If I had a few I'd prob try a DM sale through here to avoid being flagged for some reason.  Ok that sounded like a hint that wasn"t meant...or was it.🤔
