I wouldn't be surprised if this ends up on sale at some point and makes it a little bit more enticing. Pricing is actually very reasonable. Stonewars tried re-bricking a display and looked at the cost of that. https://www.stonewars.de/kommentare/lego-arts-mosaike-rebrick/ TLDR: Rebricking isn’t worth it at all Quote
KShine Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 I love the Beatles - but do I really want/need to spend $500 to replace the photos I got for free when I purchased the white album? Quote
Mathew Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 (edited) Meh. Lego paint by numbers. Nothing special in my book and overpriced for the end result. Edited July 5, 2020 by Mathew Quote

minicoopers11 Posted July 5, 2020 Posted July 5, 2020 LEGO has been "overpriced" plastic ever since the system brick was born. It is known, this is known, etc. Quote

Except the mother of all mail days (Mother's Day) won't help us out any. Maybe a pick-a-brick wall on the right day if the main colors were available. On a different rebrick topic, I was able to buy individual parts for the 2x4 Red Buildable Brick for a reasonable price. Most were very common anyway but it ended up netting less than the resell price of the promo itself. 1 Quote
LegoC777 Posted March 6, 2022 Posted March 6, 2022 What does everyone think in terms of investment value in the long term for the iron man (31199) and the Beatles (31198) art sets? Anyone think they will reach $225 or more in value at some point? I know the Monroe one is retired and is not doing so well on ebay but the other ones seem not bad in price. Thoughts? Quote

Lego Art sets are the equivalent to black velvet paintings. Some will like but most think they're ugly. Edited March 6, 2022 by Mathew Quote

I have never bought or built any of the art sets? Is there any exclusivity other than the box? Meaning couldn’t anyone just buy the studs and build the sets themselves? Quote

Pseudoty Posted October 7, 2023 Posted October 7, 2023 Well this review convinced me to get this set based on the build. Was able to grab one off of eBay for $140 which seems like a more reasonable price for what you are getting. 2 Quote

Pseudoty Posted May 7 Posted May 7 It is so bad they delayed it until October. I wonder if they will tune it up or just release it as is. https://www.lego.com/en-us/product/mona-lisa-31213 Quote
