RogerWilco Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 Unfortunately this does not happen for me, maybe it is regional or something. Quote
exciter1 Posted July 4, 2013 Posted July 4, 2013 It doesn't show up until the last screen of checkout. There is a button to "redeem my points", and if your merchandise total is over $80, it should activate one code for $6 and one code for $8. I was actually able to get it to work 2 days in a row, for $28 in free money across 2 separate orders. The catch to the promo is that you have to redeem some amount of your own points to activate it. I had the same thing and was able to get 2 Epic Dragon Battles for $73 each on two separate orders. I also received an additional $5.50 back from EBates for each order for an extra $11.00 in savings. willy431 Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 It's the same price on amzn with 2 day shipping using your amzn card. Or...same price at EE if you buy 2. Quote
hockeypunk05 Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I know I am not grabbing it because I just got some at Kmart for $86 and the TRU sale is starting Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I had just gotten one for 90. I normally would pull the trigger but saving capital for more clearance. Quote
@rtisan Posted July 7, 2013 Posted July 7, 2013 I was so lucky to find a stash of these for $50 about 2 weeks ago at my local walmart. They had them for $85 for the longest time, but (as is usually the case) they dropped after about 2 months like this. I`d been keeping tabs on the "In Store" online, and immediately ran over and scored 7. I`d suggest waiting. Maybe you will get lucky like this as well. I was shocked, because I`ve never managed to score anything over 40% off before. And in Canada of all places. The set is a winner, and even for $90 is worth it. I`d just be careful about jumping too quick. Quote

I was messing around with the in store price checker and apparently the set is $20 at the Fort Saskatchewan (north edmonton) location and in stock. That would be incredible! Quote

DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Two Left: http://www.ebay.com/itm/NEW-LEGO-Ninjago-Epic-Dragon-Battle-9450-/181178101236?pt=Building_Toys_US&hash=item2a2f0e6df4 I think this is the same seller I bought one from several weeks ago and it was mint. Quote
hollingsworthless Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 I saw that. I'm still leery about buying currently available sets that are priced below retail, with stock photos and multiples available. I ran into what I'm pretty sure was a dropship scam once with a similar listing. Quote
RunMan3 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 Amazon has it for $91.75 so not that great of a deal. Quote
spener90 Posted July 17, 2013 Posted July 17, 2013 I just picked two up at Target.com during the sale for $81. So that is a very average price. Go on Amazon if you want them, you will have a bit more peace of mind that if the set comes in damaged they will take care of the issues. Quote

Junta Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Just came across this on Amazon.ca. Purchased 5 sets. http://www.amazon.ca/LEGO-Ninjago-Epic-Dragon-Battle/dp/B007Q0ON7S/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1374636225&sr=8-1&keywords=9450 Quote
seapotato Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Do these sets typically do well? Looks like bp market value is about $80 usd right now. Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 The amount of discounts this set had seen are starting to bother me. I wonder if too many are being sold for it to be a huge investment winner Quote
nolanfan34 Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 The amount of discounts this set had seen are starting to bother me. I wonder if too many are being sold for it to be a huge investment winner Yeah, but half of those have been bought by emazers, and he will hold onto them. Quote
weakside Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 Nice find Junta. Better than the Walmart 'clearance' prices I see here and there (not regular). Kids love Ninjago and this Epic set. I had 2 sets at check out ready to process with one more click...but decided no for now. Took some will power lol. Credit card bill is too big and I would like to 'lay low' for few weeks, wait it out selling more sets first or for a deal I can't turn down. If I miss out on this Epic set at low price than so be it...can't get everything as a small time/newbie investor Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 I really think this set is nice, but I have been worried by how many discounts this set has gotten. Maybe $120 was just too overpriced to begin with. It has sold about 135 or sets a month on Ebay, but in December it jumped to over 600. What do you all think? Have the mega discounts changed anyone's mind? I have 3, but I am wondering if there may be better investments out there. Quote
