elmaslıefendi Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 France closed all schools. We're waiting right now for the official statement of Merkel... she's an hour late... they're probably thinking about a possible excuse for not closing the schools to push through their lobbyist interests.
Phil B Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 All Ohio K-12 schools have 3 weeks Spring Break starting this Monday 3/16.

HandyHand Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 A voice of reason: https://talbotspy.org/letter-from-toronto-an-infectious-diseases-specialist-reflects-on-corvid-19/ In the mean time, over here in The Netherlands all people are encouraged to work at home if possible. But schools will remain open because "children forced to stay home will force the parents to stay home, which would do the economy more harm than keeping the schools open."

Same for Vegas as people like me go there every March for the opening two rounds If the Super Bowl was in 2 weeks, likely the same outcome as the NCAA. MLB has cancelled the rest of spring training and delayed start of season. Broadway is closed. NFL is recalling scouts and will address draft. My son was sent home with two weeks of work today but it is still open temporarily.

We're still 4 weeks away from that. If I had to guess, if our district does something sooner rather than later, and closes down, they will move the Easter break up, add a second week, and can the week off mid-April. Hopefully. 1

Sauromosis Posted March 12, 2020 Posted March 12, 2020 How do we objectively track this as a group so we know when to send sets into FBA?

Big risk right now using Amazon warehouses. If one employee goes down at that warehouse...whole warehouse operation goes down for a bit as they quarantine and sanitize. 1

Half Europe is under quarantine except for us Germans. Incompetence! I think the pressure is too big though at almost 3000 infected, schools will close here too, only a matter of time.
