They have had very good numbers recently in the U.S. as far as profit goes. Link: http://www.brickset.com/news/article/?ID=5830 Quote
terrymc4677 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 we need one in green bay / appleton / fox cities, wisconsin. wisconsin has 0 lego stores. the closest ones are in the mall of america in minneapolis (4-5 hr drive), and at the lego discovery center in chicago (3 1/2 - 4 hrs). C'MON MAN!! Quote
redeemed763 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Green Bay, Appleton and Fox Cities are all way to small of urban centers for a Lego Store, you guys could get one in Milwaukee or maybe Madison, but there a ton of other places with better markets than the rest of those cities. Quote
tigereyes5811 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Man they need to open them like Walmart. One in every big city!!! Quote
Talon Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Dang! Now that makes me angry, I just moved from California to Utah last year so I could order from Shop @ Home and not pay sales tax! Opening a store in Utah means I'll have to pay sales tax again! Guess I need to look for a new place to live AGAIN! Quote

Whoa, I live west of St. Louis, will they start adding it to mine when our store is open? How do they calculate that, based on zip code? I'm excited about the St. Louis store and plan to attend the grand opening if convenient. Quote

Huskers1236 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 While I doubt Lincoln would ever get one(250,000 people), I hope that Omaha gets one at some point as they are probably 3x bigger. Kansas City has Discovery Center I think, but I don't know if those have retail or not. Quote
Darth Lego Posted February 22, 2013 Author Posted February 22, 2013 no one in italy? Not yet. Maybe you will get one soon. Quote

It is wierd how there's like ten LEGO stores thoughout the state of California, and yet barely two in my state. Bunch of bulls*** if you ask me. Quote
CNH1974 Posted February 25, 2013 Posted February 25, 2013 California has the 4th largest economy in the world. So its not surprising they have ten. Watford has just opened in the UK. What surprises me is how small the shops are. The one in Milton Keynes is tiny, but it is the world's first Lego shop I believe. Quote
jkris53406 Posted August 8, 2013 Posted August 8, 2013 Just talked to the manager at the milwaukee location last week and they are opening a new store in Gurnee Mills in October. Terry, of you still weren't westerner is a location in Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa. It's been open since summer 2012. Quote
Polkaking Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Attended the Big E fair in MA today. There is a Lego booth set up in the CT state building. They were advertising two new stores in 2014- the Danbury store and a store in West Farms Mall in West Hartford. Not sure as to when in 2014 though..... Quote

Maybe I'm missing something, but I live in Arkansas and to my knowledge there are no Lego stores in the state and I've had to pay sales tax on my online purchases for as long as I can remember. Quote
ausleigh Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 We want a store (or stores, preferably) in Australia. Really surprises me that there is so much growth in America, but not into a country where there is no store currently. Quote
