5 times RRP in less than 6 months is not enough momentum for you?

These are adorable...Disney fans and LEGO collectors alike should love these.

Anyone else think BHz is taking a more "cuter" angle in design rather than the nitchy blocky look they started with? May be speaking to the primary buyer targets

Hi guys!
Any ideas if 40377 (Donald) & 40378 (Pluto & Goofy) are going to be LEGO exklusives?
The same question applies to 40383 (bride), 40384 (groom) and 40436 (lucky cat)?!
In Europe/Austria Mickey and Minnie have been only available at LEGO and Europe wide at some exclusive retailers.

Does anybody know what the availability will be in Europe?
Thank you!

Kind regards,
Infi

usually when no one responds to a good question it means no one here knows the answer

LEGO has been doing some wacky distribution stuff w/ BHz: started off with SDCC ultra exclusives, then for a couple of years flooded the market where folks were seeing BHz even in dollar store, then retirement of the whole line rumors, had super short runs (mouse couple), special numbered exclusives w/ retail giants: Walmart and Target, currently experimenting with seasonals, and now become super selective on licensed source material: Star Wars and Disney.

so really no clue on the recent Disney BHz sets.  They look great and I doubt LEGO will flood the market again so if you like em...get em.

I literally dont see 5x times gain on Mickey and Minnie. based on ebay sales stats its like 3 times selling price (bought at 10, sold at 30 GBP)

It’s about 3 x here too. BH’s in general are nowhere near as popular in Australia  as they are in other parts of the world.
Still , they’re cheap to buy , cheap to post and don’t take up much room. New Disney sets will go well with Minnie and Mickey.

No idea about these guys. I will say that after almost missing out on a couple of them, while trying to collect them all, I don’t fool around. I pick them up as soon as I see them, even if it’s at retail.

Thank you very much for your thoughts on this rather unpredictable theme.
I thought to buy some of them as a small investment since I bought the mouse couple for my wife and she hadn't open them yet. ?
Now they're worth 5x RRP. I stick to the 50€+ sets because of the lesser work and better revenue so I was wondering if the new Donald and Goofy sets will also increase in value quite similar to Mickey and Minnie. It's not the RRP buy-in, it's the flooded market with some of the Brickheadz that makes many of them less interesting. Lego is like gambling in a casino - their moves are often unpredictable... stupid. ?
Thanks again!

Greetings,
Infi

As always is the case, the first set(s) in a new series have a relatively lower production run and when the series takes off, the demand highly outweighs the production of the initial set(s).

I'm sure the production of Donald Duck and Goofy will be much higher than the production run of Mickey and Minnie. So don't expect similar results with Donald / Goofy as with M & M.

Id like to see a poll how many of us think that with a strike of midnight .. next morning they will be sold out .. :)

So.. if I take your opinion and relate it on Harry Potter BHs.. how comes that they produced just so little of the the double pack Wizarding World 41631 ?? They had to know at that moment how "classic" Harry Potter + Hermione were doing..

What a weird numbering system. Why have the seasonal sheep at #100 with these two sets sandwiching it?

just a wild "marketing" guess.. to claim later something like "the exclusive 100th member of our BHs family.. ".. otherwise I share your view.

Both Goofy+Pluto and Donald Duck sets are Temporarily Out of Stock (here in Europe anyway), but hoarded massively by resellers offering them for profit online. I wonder if this was just a one-time batch by LEGO or whether there will be more produced...
