whoisbiggles Posted November 22, 2019 Posted November 22, 2019 What is that gold square thing in the Dubai cityscape - a 50 story AED 230million picture frame. This is what a petrol/gasoline purchases pay for. Absolutely priceless. https://kunstler.com/eyesore-of-the-month/november-2017/ 1 Quote

Val-E Posted January 28, 2020 Author Posted January 28, 2020 Must be a lot of cheese slopes to get 3.7k pieces for 100 euros.... Quote
Dr Jedi Posted January 28, 2020 Posted January 28, 2020 I guess a 4k piece White House isn't all that surprising, but, boy, do I miss the days of Fallingwater, Farnsworth and Robie. No landmarks/monuments, just exquisite architecture. 6 Quote

No landmarks/monuments, just exquisite architecture. I think it´s a typo. That would take it into the Creator Expert series like SOH / Big Ben and is certainly not compatible with a 100 euro price point. Expect something closer to 730 pieces. No landmarks/monuments, just exquisite architecture. My Lego hobby started with the Farnsworth House. It’s a shame they have focused on landmarks and cityscapes. I’m for them re-releasing updated models like Fallingwater. Quote

TerryMc is correct. After the MB shooting, LEGO replaced MB with Bellagio. Apparently some of the 21038 sets were released in South Africa but only a few. One of the very rarest LEGO sets ever. 1 Quote
