crayxlp Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 I believe that with so many released pictures it just deserves its own thread. and after all - its a RED Ferrari in all its glory.. .. Pictures by Brothers-brick.com Ferrari F8 Tributo (76895) – 275 pieces/$19.99 4 Quote
Val-E Posted November 20, 2019 Posted November 20, 2019 I don´t think too many people will complain about the bigger cars after seeing this. The 2020 models kick the older CITY scale ones out of the park. 3 Quote
crayxlp Posted November 20, 2019 Author Posted November 20, 2019 (edited) Exactly.. I have the very same feeling.. those insisting on keeping up with 6-studs chassis will sooner or later realize that its absolutely normal in other spheres of modelling industry (such as 1:xx car models or plastic models of everything and anything) that there are always various scales 1:16.. 1:25 etc.. This thing is a pure beauty.. lets hope that LEGO does not overflood the market that it ends up for 8 bucks in the trash corner of Walmart. Edited November 20, 2019 by crayxlp 1 Quote

crayxlp Posted November 21, 2019 Author Posted November 21, 2019 Im not sure.. if that "trash bin scenario" happened I would gather that it was a total looser - thus not giving much confidence in later earnings. Quote
marcandre Posted November 21, 2019 Posted November 21, 2019 Love it. Nice touch having the actual car on the box. Quote

Yo Cray, just because I currently prefer the 6stud over the 8, does not mean i live in an alternate reality. In fact, my preferences and choices are my reality, making your reality an alternate one. I do not disregard common sense or facts. I am a speed champion fanatic however and nothing of the 8 wides have convinced me to change over. The lambo does deserve a wider stance, so the 8 wide actually serves the huracan set well. The the 60's fastback in 6 wide is appropriate next to the Huracan, so maybe a mix would be good, based on the actual scale between the cars within the SC line. So maybe the 8wide could have a place in my heart, its just when a company decides to white wash a product, one has to be skeptical for the reasons. The claim for more detail also comes with more pieces, so it would appear to be a finacial one in this case. Also, i would have hoped for more detail on this wonderfully curved supercar. The square angles completely make this a miss for me. Box art is top notch, per usual. Edited November 21, 2019 by BricksBrotha typo 1 Quote
crayxlp Posted November 21, 2019 Author Posted November 21, 2019 (edited) I understand the reservations some can have against this - were it released under Technic brand - what your take would be? Edited November 21, 2019 by crayxlp Quote
