Azcoyote21
Hey to all Brick Pickers out there I purchased an auction lot with Lego Sets 6868 Hulks Helicarrier Breakout , and 9496 The Desert Skiff. Both Boxes where opened when I recieved them and can anyone tell me how many bags / loose pieces should be in each set? The Helicarrier set still has the Hulk Minifigure wrapped in plastic. So Thats a plus, and the Desert Skiff Set looks to have everything.
Darth Lego
The 9496 Desert Skiff has 213 pieces and the Hulk's Helicarrier Breakout has 389 pieces. I don't know about how many bags there should be in each set, but maybe someone else can help you with that.
spener90
Lego has instructions online. The best way to know if everything is there would be to build the sets. I am unsure about the bag count, although, if I remember correctly, the Desert Skiff has 3 bags. I attached a link below. http://service.lego.com/en-US/buildinginstructions/
TheOrcKing
If you want to know the exact amount of contained parts from a set, look in the very back of the set instructions if it still has them. If not, then download them from the LEGO site or from some other site that has them. There you will find a parts list of everything included in the set and how many of each specific part that set is supposed to contain. I literally just had to do that with a set I bought a couple of days ago and that was the best way I could do to find out what I was missing. Doing the inventory checklist is A LOT faster than trying to build the set to find out you're missing something. I do not know how to find out how many bags were in the box to begin with. Although I have found in some of the set reviews I've read on the website, Bricker, that the reviewer mentioned all the little details like numbered sealed bags & such. Might help.
