mushedroom
hi all, i am an OLD lego lover (meaning legos were my everything as a kid)... and a new NEWBIE when it comes to lego HOARDING... i was hoping that i could get some insight and education on the whole "lego investing collecting" experience. this past weekend i went to toys r us and bought 2 lego star wars Y wing fighter sets...priced at $45.99 each... but after BOGO discount (buy 1 get 1 50% off) each set came out to be about $34.45. is this a "tuck it into the closet and forget about it" type of thing? or are there specific lego sets that are meant to be collected and packed away for 10 years... please help... This question has been asked quite a bit on the forums, so you may already get some answers from past posts. There is a ton of information here on this site. Veegs
The reality (at least for me) has been a whole lot of LEGO fun. On paper I've made money, but in reality I still have more capital tied up in Lego assets than I've sold. It is about as much work as I expected, but I enjoy it.
