A lot of their limits have raised.....20 on most things I have been looking at except for sale items....

I saw this on Disney Train once. Limit of 20 units.

Although it's not clear that 75522 is actually separate from the droid commander, because it doesn't get a separate line in your cart, possibility your 75253 has 75522 inside.  Could be like how some of the lego dimension starter sets had supergirl polybag inside.
