Mark Twain Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 You’d be surprised how Netflix has kept new generations of users fans of this show. The series leaving Netflix is one of the biggest financial hits the company has taken. Sent from my iPhone using Brickpicker Forum Quote
Dr Jedi Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 What are the odds that there are no stickers in this set? Particularly the "service" sign, the "Central Perk" window and the chalkboard/menu. Quote
psusyntar Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 I teach at a high school and I was surprised by how many students I see watching this show. In fact, last year's graduating class use the Friends show logo as the design of their senior shirts. Quote

I can see the "Reserved" and "Service" as stickers already. Quote
Val-E Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 menu and sign are printed. Smaller stuff is stickers. Lego tax makes no Friends here at 70 euros. Quote
fuzzy_bricks Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 I can't believe this and The Big Bang Theory are going to be the same MSRP. The licensing for the Big Bang Theory must have been crazy or Lego over estimated the price people were willing to pay. Quote
Darth_Raichu Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Interesting how this set was made to look like a studio stage for the show, with the flood lights on both sides. Whereas BBT was made to look like a vignette / a section of Sheldon's room Quote
Belac Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Some good parts in this set. I like those green lamp posts and the array of different minifig prints among other things. I wonder where has that hair for Jen Aniston fig been used before? I didn't watch show regularly but Its a fine show. It's not likely to be remade as if they did it would just be six people staring at cell phones.....BORING! I'll get some of these EOL Quote

exracer327 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 I have to confess, I'm surprised by this set - size (close to 32x32), decorations, minifigure selection, etc. I'm not running out to get any now, maybe around EOL, but for the money you get a lot. It's $.005 / piece better than the Saturn V, which I believe has been one of the best price points of any set for a very long time. I hear everyone say how popular it is, even among young people. And I think it's kind of cool they're releasing it on the 25th anniversary of the show's debut. But seriously, it's the 25th anniversary!!! Guess we'll find out just how popular it is but I would be shocked if it sells out. Quote
oneknightr Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Surprisingly great price point. These won't sell out so will wait for discounts/markdowns later. My favorite figures are Ross and Gunther. They did a nice job on Joey's expression too. Quote

nolanfan34 Posted August 8, 2019 Posted August 8, 2019 Very surprised by the US price/piece count. They did a good job on this one. Quote
TheOrcKing Posted August 19, 2019 Posted August 19, 2019 Truth be told, I was never part of the avid audience for the show when it originally aired and yet still I recognized the location. A well done representation and overall interesting build of a diorama. So now.... how long before we get Happy Days, hmm? Quote

ravenb99 Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Kinda weird the hottest set since Saturn V has had only a few posts since release. 1 Quote
Ezace Posted September 8, 2019 Posted September 8, 2019 Just bought my set today, had to visit the Lego Store since it's out of stock online. I personally think it's a great set to have for various reasons. I'm debating on whether or not to build it or keep it sealed and just know that I have it. I'm undecided Quote
