lazuli16 Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 (edited) I don't know how I missed this, but the new Dimentional Weight pricing is going to hurt when selling any of the larger sets. Just wanted to point out the change so you guys are prepared. brickvoyeur Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 Does USPS overcompensate on the length like some people? 5 inches can become 8 inches in a hurry. Generally FedEx is a better option for larger heavier items. Wouldn't be surprised if they adjust their prices to close the gap between them and the USPS dimensional pricing. Quote

fuzzy_bricks Posted May 22, 2019 Posted May 22, 2019 So the dimensional rates are going up? They already do dimensional weight for packages outside of zone 4. Is there another change happening that I’m missing? Quote

minicoopers11 Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 And realized one more thing. To calculate USPS dimensional weight, the method WAS to take the volume in inches and divide by 194 (unless I recorded that wrong, but I don't think so). NOW the method is to take the volume and divide by 166. That hurts even more. Quote
river41 Posted June 24, 2019 Posted June 24, 2019 also parcel select used to be much harder to hit the dimensional weight now you automatically hit it just like priority mail Quote
