Sorry man, but Point of Sales systems can keep track of that sort of data, including if it's ran on the same credit card.  The only way to skirt that is to pay with cash.

Exactly what I will be doing at the next B&M store later tonight............ Good call

Not my station but close...

I put #fragile# sticker almost on every shipment...

Oooo....I like that.  Dog is in need of some air-filled protection, though.  Don't want him getting injured, might be a defect.

Does anyone have a suggestion on the best box to ship a complete set of this line?  Also, how do you go about packing it?  There's 2 small boxes, 2 medium and 2 large.  How would you guys place these in suggested box?

I shipped a complete set out about 2 weeks ago... It weighed around 17 lbs, and I used a pretty big box to do it.  I bubble wrapped the IR/RR/PC together (they all fit together fairly snug).  Then wrapped Trex and DA by themselves, and then sat those next to the wrapped sets.  I then put the polybag on top.  Im pretty anal about sending it well protected and even lined it with the big air bubbles so that it would arrive minty fresh..  I get discounted rates on shipping through UPS so i'm guessing it would cost in the mid 20s if you sent it normally.  I think Amazon wanted me to pay in the mid 30s using their service.

I always pay with cash.  It's that I used my VIP card for the transactions.  I actually said to the cashier, "And the moral of that story is don't use your VIP card if your LEGO store employees don't like repeat customers."  He just smiled.  He wasn't the one that 'discovered' it.  I actually wanted to make it easy on them and asked if they'd rather me take the five that were there or just grab me 5 from the stock room around the corner to save them the restocking.  Lady came back and informed me of the aforementioned situation.

I have 4 or five vip cards the only one have any trouble over is the one with my wifes name on it, the store gave her a hard time about it cause they hadn't seen one before. Since they track info with them I change it up. Hard to pass up double points. $45 for 2 purchases on a new card yesterday.

What's the best way to avoid getting banned from a Lego B&M? Planning to buy 5 sets each for 75918, 75919, 75920 tomorrow if they really did restock it at my local Lego store.

I have 6 VIP cards (family & friends), I guess I should use the VIP cards that don't mind getting banned for tomorrow's purchases?

Five sets each for 75918-75920, bringing two people with me tomorrow, total 45 boxes. Going inside one after another so we don't stack 45 boxes on the counter and raise red flags.

No. I don't think that plan will raise any red flags...

Naaah - that will never work.  This is the sure-fire solution.

I'm not convinced this is an actual question, but if it is...

The best way to avoid getting banned is not to buy any Lego there. ZERO. Zip, zilch, nada. The big Goose Egg. Nil. None. Absolutely nothing.

I'm serious - think about that for a minute. Then act accordingly.

If you're in the States, please take a few pics of the stock if you actually see 5 each of 75919 and 75920 on the shelves.  I'd love to see that.

I thought you guys said they were restocking? Going to check out my local Lego store tomorrow.

I didn't.  I said my store got two sets, IR, and that was the ONLY JW sets they got in.  Not two boxes of sets;  two sets.  But if you see that kind of stock, I'd love to see pics.

All the LEGO stores in my area got multiple cases of all the sets. I wound up with 7 IR and 12 RE yesterday after hitting up all three near by. All of which had the 38R5 code on them. As far as I know two of the three are now out of RE and low on IR.

How did you buy them? cause my store limits me to five per set.

The Amazon P7 seems to work. It's very snug top to bottom. A few extra inches in the length.

Interesting... I was always told by Lego employees that Lego fulfill online orders first. Anything left order gets distributed to stores. Looks like Lego rather have this line in stores rather taking more orders during 2x VIP :(

IIRC, RI went to Lego stores during the restock rather then LEGO Shop at Home (for the most part)...
