Spacewalker95 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Do you think Lego will make a JP4 theme to go along with the movie? If not, will this drive up the price of the current Dino sets? The movie is slated to premier in 2014 and of course Steven Spielberg is executive producer. If it follows in the footsteps of the previous three Jurassic Park's, it'll probably be a huge success. Any thoughts? Quote
derickb81 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 it might bump it some but people still have a bad taste in there mouths from jp3 a really bad movie Quote
Ed Mack Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 It won't hurt. Dino themes are quite solid performers to begin with. 2 Quote

Huskers1236 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Another Jurassic Park? The original was a good one, after that I thought they were terrible. Will the dinosaurs be ravaging Manhattan this time? As for the possible sets? Do not want. Quote
spener90 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 They actually had Jurassic Park 3 sets. It'll be interesting to see if that makes a return? The Dino sets can't hurt considering there is a Jurassic Park 3D re-release inbound. Quote
kerrmando Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 I think it could be fun to see these new sets. Maybe get another new gun part, or some new good looking jeep vehicles. Cant really hurt to have new sets in this theme. Quote

I do not know what the current concept for JP4 will be. Quote

spener90 Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 Yeah, I meant studios. Not an entire theme, but maybe it will become one? 1 Quote
runner.caller2 Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Yeah, I meant studios. Not an entire theme, but maybe it will become one? Also, Sutdios didn't do that well overall. Only the Dinosaur sets seamed to do alright. Quote
DoNotInsertIntoMouth Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Also, Sutdios didn't do that well overall. Only the Dinosaur sets seamed to do alright. Dino Defense is riding a 50% CAGR. I'd say its already doing pretty well. Quote
MartinP Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 Dino Defense is riding a 50% CAGR. I'd say its already doing pretty well. If a set has 50% CAGR, then it is doing good, depending one what year the set is. Quote
kerrmando Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 I love these Dino sets as investments. I'm sitting pretty on quite a few of them... still finding them too! Quote

Guest eightbrick Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 If it follows in the footsteps of the previous three Jurassic Park's, it'll probably be a huge success. Any thoughts? Previous three films? Personally, the only film I'm hoping it follows footsteps in is the first one. The other two were pretty forgettable. That said, Jurassic Park has a reasonable following and I wouldn't be surprised if they made a theme for it. In fact, I hope they do - I want one of those shiny little jeeps Whether they release a theme on Jurassic Park 4 or not, I can definitely see the value of the Dino sets going up - dinosaurs haven't really been big in recent years and a big-name, big-buck production like JP4 is just what kids need to get back into ol' T-Rex. brickolodon Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 any set with TRex will do great....IMHO. Quote
Mindblow21 Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 In my opinion if you slap some Jurassic park stickers on a Dino set you would almost have a JP set. I missed the boat on Dino theme so I wouldn't mind a JP theme. Quote
JoshTX Posted September 6, 2013 Posted September 6, 2013 It would be nice if they helped the Dino theme - I have a few of the T-Rex Chase sets. Quote
StompingFreak Posted September 14, 2013 Posted September 14, 2013 It would be nice if they helped the Dino theme - I have a few of the T-Rex Chase set Wont matter now. Cuusoo have canned all JP projects. Plus the linance has been given to ker-oh or some one like that. Stomping Quote
MarleyMoose Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 http://brickfanatics.co.uk/lego-jurassic-world-sets-confirmed-for-2015/I thought this was canned awhile back. The article is from January 2014. Quote
psusyntar Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Article I believe is from yesterday. I have noticed that things in Europe and some other foreign countries use the day/month/year format. We in the U.S. use month/day/year format. 2 Quote
@rtisan Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Interesting, wonder if they will actually happen. Quote
