keymomachine Posted March 18, 2019 Share Posted March 18, 2019 This set only bares passing resemblance to the MOC from Ideas, also the turnaround seems real fast. They totally just designed this internally, right? For a late celebration of Mickey at 90? Also the reason for the $90 price point, it's like the 1969 pieces in the Saturn V, but greedier. Ching ching! Printing mistakes in the first run are always good news for resellers. Shame the price is real. I see there are plenty of coloured bricks used in the base. It's beginning to grow on me (just a tiny bit) now that I've seen the funnels move when pushed. It should have a chance with the new Mickey/Minnie figures. I'll see how many pages this topic gets compared to the likes of WALL-E before I go overboard, pardon the pun. However, one thing will stop me.. stickers! Does the Mickey Mouse fanbase really care about a misprint for this. I understand the observation (First Run Villager Amiibo comes to mind) but I wonder how much fans will care. Lego claim they are going to fix this, but it would be interesting to try and gauge the production run numbers from when we see the correction in retail stores.
