2019 Early Seller Update

We're planning a regular Seller Update for late April, but we're providing you with a limited update now so you can start taking advantage of new features, Seller Hub enhancements, and listing updates that will help you run your business better.

What you need to know

  • Send offers to buyers with new feature
  • Edit active listings directly in Seller Hub
  • Download the Orders Report directly in Seller Hub
  • Listing duration for all fixed price listings will be Good 'Til Cancelled
  • Provide item specifics to list items without the eBay catalog
  • Automatic updates of "New other" condition listings
  • Terapeak subscription is now available on eBay
  • State sales tax requirement update

Thoughts?

I still prefer the old way, I'm a luddite like that. A bit like Microsoft... as soon as you get used to XP they bring out something really nasty like Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and 10.

£1 FVF offers for Business Sellers would be good !!!

So, with Ebay starting to collect sales tax in certain states (with more to come), will they be collecting sales tax on just item cost or shipping fees as well I wonder?

Might be a good enough reason to list your $200 item for $1 with $199 shipping... if the customer saves on sales tax that way.

I'm all about less clicks. Two clicks to change the price without having to wait for another page to load? I'm in

Breakdown from a recent ebay purchase:

Subtotal    $20.00
Shipping    $5.99
Tax    $2.60

10% tax, so it appears grand total is taxed.
