How about:

- A 2500 piece Technic, battery powered, crawling Sandcrawler (they should have done it with this year's version IMO): $299

- A 2500 piece Technic Millenium Falcon with spinning radar (or whatever it is), light-speed booster (light) on-off, opening/closing hatch and door, spinning gun pod, etc: $299

- 4000 piece Jedi Temple, $299

- A 3000 piece UCS Cloud City, given how well the original Clould City performed (was it UCS?)

The cloud city UCS set sounds like a great idea, but I would want the landing platform to be big enough to land a Millennium Falcon.

Maybe not a UCS set, but do you think they'll ever offer a LEGO Dagobah?  It might be minifigure limited, to 3-5 minifigs.

Doesn't the Yoda chronicles book have a model of Yoda's house on Dagobah?  Throw in a Luke minifig and a darth vador minifig w/ Luke's head and you're good to go :)

Cloud City in Ewok Village style would be a killer. I wouldn't be surprised if that was the next big playset.

If done right, a UCS style playset of Bespin could be an all time great set.  Star Wars folks have been clamoring for a new one for years since the original isn't really THAT great.  I've had it, it's pretty cool, but with today's parts and techniques they could really kill it with a new one.

Wow, that earlier post regarding Anio's UCS Lego Star Wars Collection is really amazing.

I toss my vote in for a UCS Venator class Republic Star Destroyer. One of the coolest things I always remember when I saw the Death Star II or the Star Destroyer was how there was a mini version of a complementary ship next to it (Mini Star Destroyer and Tantive IV). Considering the cost of a UCS set, I don't think it's out of LEGO's range to include lots of these mini ships. If you had a UCS Venator and include lots of mini ARC-170's, V-Wings, etc, then it'd definitely turn that ship into MORE than just a display. After all, the upcoming TRU May the 4th event shows exactly how small they can make some of these ships. Who WOULDN'T want a giant flagship with a miniature fleet?

And on the topic of prequels, hey man, don't knock, one area I'm pretty sure that the prequels didn't COMPLETELY screw up on are the designs. Some of those ships are very pretty.

Edit: Also just remembered someone mentioning city sets for Naboo or another city. Anyone up for some Architecture-style collectible LEGO Star Wars cities? That would be much easier to finance instead of all these $400 sets we're thinking up of... :P

Yes, because they already did.

A Venator class star destoryer will be sweet!

Since the 9493 x-wing is released in 2012, followed by the 10240 Red 5 was released in 2013, hopefully we'll either have a ATAT (Cavegod sized minifigure scale?) or a remake of 10030 Star Destroyer (same size but hopefully without magnets) to celebrate Episode 7.

A UCS Sandcrawler wouldn't be pulling any teeth. :)

Whoa dude, I guess you got what you wanted huh? .........On another note, I think I may need you to pick some Power-Ball numbers for me!!!

I don't know if this idea has been presented before:

But what about a modular type theme for SW? Let's say, a new Death star composed out of 6-8 big sets depicting different scenes, much like 10188, only bigger.

And these sets would, when put together, create a monster Death star. And why not also include an outer shell as the final set, so it looks like the Death star too?

That's something that I would look forward to build. Every set would be 2-3000pcs, for a total of 12-24000pcs. The key would be to make each set work alone, that way you wouldn't have to get all sets to create the master set.

Tell me what you think? :)

Agreed,

UCS Cloud City, with completely updated and new minifig range, containing  at least 8-10. Piece count to range between 2000-3000 piece build.

UCS Tie Bomber

UCS Tie Fighter Interceptor- re release and up dated version, (no blue pieces)

UCS Millenium Falcon - re release same piece count but with updated cockpit printed section, like latest play-set version.

UCS AT-AT walker 5000-6000  piece set, making this the jewel in the crown of the UCS series. design cues taken from Lego Ideas submission.

UCS EF76 Nebulon -B escort frigate - as per Lego Ideas submission.

Why do you think the original Cloud City (10123) performed well?  It didn't actually, no one wanted it so they reduced it and reduced it and just cut it off. (like the original Batman actually)

Now, does it do well in the after market? Absolutely, fuelled by some some exclusive figures

I'm sure people will buy them to store them like they did with Death Stars, but I wouldn't count on a new cloud city performing like the old one did.

I'd like a UCS MF and so would a lot of others after missing out first time round.  10179 hoarders won't be so happy!
