Veegs Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 Cool!? More like dollar signs in my eyes! If this could go quietly now after many of us stocked up at a significant discount, we'd be making money sooner rather than later. Quote
blueremains Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 If it is EOL, Christmas can't come fast enough! Quote
TheDarkness Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 If it goes EOL and people are selling this Christmas, I think they will still be leaving a lot of money on the table. Quote
beeblet65 Posted June 18, 2013 Posted June 18, 2013 If it is EOL, Christmas can't come fast enough! what a thought - i have 8 i would sell ASAP for a large profit for xmas! Quote

I think that's what we're all hoping for.. The more people that are willing to jump ship and settle for a small gain, the faster we brickpickers will see large gains by sitting on them. 1 Quote

I thought you were saying you were going to sell at Christmas. Still, if people are making their $50-60 from international buyers such as myself, I don't blame them. Just think they are crazy considering what we have seen with some sets in the past. Quote
brickolodon Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Shop-at-Home B-Wing not availbale @shop.lego.com anymore, brace youself LEGO investors... Amazon Link: LEGO Star Wars B-Wing Fighter 10227 Quote
comicblast Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Is there something I am missing? I thought that its had this status for a while, so that TLG could catch up with demand after May the Fourth. Quote
comicblast Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Commence panic buying? I doubt it, or else Amazon would be reacting too. They still have it for $156, so while it is there, I wouldn't panic. Though I think that it could be going EOL soon, I don't think it will be this month. I would guess that it will be gone in the Fall. Quote
nolanfan34 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 It shows for me, but says call for product availability. Quote
nolanfan34 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 In an unrelated note, I see the new Star Wars sets are now listed and available August 1. Quote
comicblast Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 In an unrelated note, I see the new Star Wars sets are now listed and available August 1. Add the Ewok Village set to that list. Available September 1st! Can't wait! Quote
pickleboy Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I sooooo hope this is being retired right now. That would be awesome. Quote
JoshTX Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I feel like its going to take a while for this to go away completely, even if they've confirmed retirement. Quote
Grolim Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Commence panic buying? Indeed But Lego have pulled this kind of thing before where it's obviously been a short term logistics or stock issue and then it comes back online in a month or more. Would be great if it is gone. Less supply in the market and most of us investors have enough by now. Quote
Veegs Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 After selling so many (I presume) for $99, it might be tough to sell another year or two of product for double...or maybe I am overestimating the number of investors out there who bought low and are willing to undercut S&**** for the foreseeable future. Personally, I think the B-Wing goes next for UCS sets...but I am more unreliable than a Lego Store employee. And less clean-shaven. Quote
eracine Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I thought it was in the latest catalogue sent out Quote

Ed Mack Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 I get the sense with this set that it will just be gone one day...with little fanfare. Maybe today is that day. After this set was discounted so heavily, you have to figure that it is on the fast track to EOL. Quote
Snowcrash Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Whatever happens I'm confident the ones I managed to snag on the 4th were the rock bottom price on this set. Whenever it finally does EOL I should be set up to make a tidy, though perhaps not a spectacular profit. Whatever. When you get a chance to buy a UCS set at 50% off MSRP you answer the bell :) Quote
beeblet65 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 With all thats said, i really like the b wing and hate to see it go - it has alot of interesting parts in it, and i do feel will do very well in terms of investing. i have 8, but now wish i was able to grab even more! Quote
Anakinisvader Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 Even if everyone sells out of it, it will still linger at TRU for months like everything else. Quote
glucapg Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 http://search2.lego.com/?q=10227&lang=2057&cc=IT regularly available in europe....never sold on amazon.it/de/es/fr/co.uk Quote
chess227 Posted June 21, 2013 Posted June 21, 2013 .....and now it shows as "available now" on Lego's site.... Looks like it was a short term "call for availability" issue. Quote
