Jerad Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 Hi! i have a collection I’ve vintage Lego that I hope to sell, but I don’t even know where to begin. Many of the sets have no price guide so I have no idea what their value is. Most are in the original boxes (all opened), appear to be complete, with instructions. I’ve taken a few photos. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Jerad Not sure if the moon set is complete. Also not sure if the signal set is complete, and the 939 set has had all the stickers fall off. Plus a couple of random sign pieces. Quote
Ed Mack Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 These photos bring back memories. Old sets are hard to appraise. Like any collectible, there's an emotional aspect to it. I remember the 367 Space Module set very well. Quote
marcandre Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 These are really cool. No idea on value though. Going to take a specific buyer for a lot like this. The moon set sold recently on ebay for $40 usd. No box or manual though. I would put them on ebay with a high buy it now and make me an offer. Any offers you get should give you an idea. Quote
SpaceFan9 Posted August 1, 2018 Posted August 1, 2018 I have such great memories of so many of those sets. Vintage sets like these are usually only sought out by collectors, so they can be tough to move. I recommend searching on bricklink.com for recent sales and current listing prices. For example, the Mobile Crane 670 can be found here: https://www.bricklink.com/v2/catalog/catalogitem.page?S=670-1 If they happen to sell on a larger marketplace like ebay, you'll likely get a higher price than what is listed on bricklink. It would also be easier to sell them in lots, such as all the train sets in one sale, on a market like ebay. Hope it goes well. Quote
